Argen introduces two new PFM alloys for today's changing marketplace.
With the rising price of gold, we offer more economical alloys that
can save you money. Argedent HN and Argedent Euro, both with 40%
Au, give you the "high noble" classification for your
dentists. These two new alloys provide your lab with economy and
functionality.
Argedent
HN (High Noble) offers your lab substantial savings, while maintaining
your productivity. This versatile alloy contains 40% Au, 33% Pd, and
20% Ag. Classified as HIGH NOBLE but with lower density (lower cost
per unit) than other higher gold alloys, Argedent HN will save you
money! The expansion coefficient of 14.7 makes this alloy especially
suited for American-type porcelains like Ceramco®1,
SYNSPAR®1, Avanté™1,
etc. It is very easy to cast, finish and solder. The light oxide allows
for better shade matching. Argedent HN has the strength for any application,
including implants.
Argedent
EURO offers similar cost savings to the Argedent HN, but can be
used with a wider range of porcelains. With a composition of 40% Au,
39% Pd, and 10% Ag, Argedent EURO is also classified as HIGH NOBLE.
The expansion coefficient of 14.5 makes this alloy compatible with
a wide range of porcelains, including the European-type porcelains:
VITA®1, D*SIGN®1,
DuceramPlus®1, Noritake®1,
etc. This alloy is very easy to cast and the low density of 12.8 provides
more savings per unit than other higher gold alloys.
